When a player gets a high score, I'd like to be able to prompt him or her to type in a name and then write it to a file. So far, I haven't discovered any Lite-C mechanism for doing this. Any help will be appreciated.

try looking in manual under file manipulation...file_open_write, file_var_write, etc...

Actually, my Lite-C manual says absolute nothing about file manipulation. There's nothing on file manipulation in the table of contents, and when I search for "file_open_write", I get zero matches.

I just realized that the online manual has a lot more information that the manual that I downloaded with the Lite-C distribution. Please ignore my previous posting.

Thanks!

Phillip
