GMS0012 OP Newbie G Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 49	hello all i am looking for an engine to build my 2d platformer.. later i want to convert this to a 3d game... does A7 have good docs and also a complete API overview? is this engine useful to do a 2d platform game? can i build platform typical objects like moving elevators, diverent plaform layers with the editor? thanks guys

Scorpion Serious User Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 1,619 Germany	The engine gives you the ability to create panels, change their size,position color,layer, alpha, image, rotation and scale. You can have text objects and different kinds of buttons(radio, checkbox, normal button). The whole interaction of the panels and their movement etc depend only on your coding skills. and for that lite-c is really good. I can just recommend this engine. It's a great tool for develope games, if you have experience in c-like programming languages
