Hey im a moderately expierinced modeler i use blender for modeling and so on .... i have learned to model the characters and somewhat how to animate them and not yet totally sure on skinning them but im close on that i need learn the way to do the creased edges for skinning .... and animating im just not sure how connect certain bones but i know most of it .........im looking to join a team or help form one to make role playing games somewere in medieval era ... i am working as i type to get the animating and skinning down but i thought best to start a post to find team before so more time find people ..... yes i type horribly sorry oh and yes it will be free project atleast till i move out in about 1-4 years


by that time i will be getting ready to go to school for game modeling !

and dont diss cause there no cash coming in this is just a fun first game when we get skilled and in second or third mmo we can make it cost.

First off try and talk properly, instead of sentences like "dont diss cause there no cash"

And second you cant expect to get a team without proving your self, or giving any details about the game.

So far all we know is it set sometime in the medieval times.

Post a story and/or design document, and show us you have put some real thought into the idea and then you might get some people wanting to join.

Yea sorry im not very good at grammer stuff >.< never was good at it T.T ...... and the story and stuff ill post sorry forgot about that .... thought maybe put story with team but i guess ill make one and post it.

In the 1300, chaos has spread kingdoms have fallen, beasts, and demons of the worste sorte have risen the lands corrupt from the Lich King, and mankind have been left struggling for survival.
Heroes are rising to combat these threats but many fall and only the mightiest of the heroes survive to conquer the hordes. But of the most horrible of the creatures
are the undead scourge that poisons the land of death, Ruled by the Lich King Lavard a former knight of the kingdom, he was once a the mightiest knight of the kingdom till
the day he ventured into the Dead Mountains were he fought to slay a creature known as a dragon who has ravaged a village near by, he stumbled apon a Orb known as The Orb of Oblivion,
it poisoned the knight into the demonic beliefs. for the orb was enchanted with a aura of demonic powers which when touched flowed into the one who triggered by touch.
from that day he was never the same and has begun summoning the dead to life to take over the kingdoms in favor of the corrupt orb. for the orb he guards in his domain
if this orb is not destroyed more and more creatures shall be able to spawn and ravage the land, but to destroy this orb heroes must become much .... much.... stronger
and travel far distances and battle savage beasts to reach the domain in which it lies and destroy it and the lich king or no one will be able to live in peace.

You start as a Knight in Training in a human village just before it is sieged, you will begin practice with your trainer
you will have some target practice and some obstacle course for endurance, when you finish you will spot a large smoke cloud off in the direction of the village and you and your master with rush off to see whats going on, you will encounter a cruel sceme of undead siegeing the town and rush in to fight, while fighting your master is struck down and you will try and kill the remaining undead then rush to his side.

this beginning your story of revenge.

the knights were more of a chainmail and a tabard, but some are advancing into the plate style of armor but that is a new invention so it will not be used as often.

wow, every paragraph is a literal rip off of a book or another game.

I think this game is so plain, the story is just what all RPG's are about (use to be) , what is the unique part of this game? (the selling point?)

actually its almost impossible to make a unique story for this stuff new more less its some space type of game, theres been to many games, all can do is make a funner one.
also it is also diffrent in style you notice most games have plate mail from 13-16 centuries, this i were nights still wore chain mail and so on but are gradually inventing plate armor.

and its for fun and expierience , oh and also our own fun game to play ^-^
stop being so picky these days everyone expects way to much from everything
and we can alter and change the story according to our needs.

Totally wrong, its not impossible, it might be hard but not impossible, the team i am on are making a totally unique RPG set in medieval times.

this is why i hate people these days they demand way to much they think a good idea even if not known from another movie is a rip its a idea its not a picture or item you made and said this is mine i made it totally from scratch if you dont notice dont matter and if havent noticed theres many shows with the smoke hmm maybe its good idea and or sign for somethen is going on ........ and agreed the story is hard to make thats just a ruff sketch i plan on editing it lol man whats with all the sacking .....
