I have a MED model with 8 skins. (256x256x32,mipm) that are not visible in my game.
The situation is the same in the MED Engine Preview
I use Ver 7.10 Pro
Here's what I did :
I created a block model with a skin
I did Engine Preview, ...the skin was visible
I saved the model ... still visible in E.P.
I added 7 skins and did E.P. ----> visible
SAVED THE MODEL ---> NOT VISIBLE
When I looked in the Engine Preview the model was blank (no skin).
I then removed the 7 skins ....> still not visible
SAVED THE MODEL
The skin was visible (The Engine Preview reads a new file I guess)
With one skin it was visible in Engine Preview.
This situation can also be reproduced with two skins.
Question :
Does this situation have anything to do with second UV set :
From the manual : If a model has a second UV set, it is automatically treated as if its second skin
were a lightmap (if it has no shader or FFP effect).
If so, How do I cancel this feature on models with 2 or more skins that are different?
If not, How do I use models with many different skins?
