Hi,

I've read the documentation extensively on the subject, made a series of test projects and have been trying to get this to work for days. I have no problem loading a wmb from a wrs, and I have no problem opening text files in the working folder, but I can't seem to get file_copy to extract my text file from a wrs. I created a project and bound my target text file to it with a BIND statement in the wdl of that project. I'm certain that the file was successfully added to the wrs because it is listed in the publish dialogue with the other files when I publish the project and also, A7 support verified that my file was inside. I then copy the wrs to another project where I want to load it but I haven't been able to do so.

May I please see an example of loading a text file from a wrs created in a separate file?

Thank you so much!

Does your text file have the extension .pak? If it doesn't end with .pak, file_cpy won't work as expected.

Yep, I rename my text file to myText.pak. Then

BIND "levels.pak";

in my wdl.

I will run some tests and post the result in the following magazine, under the faq.
