I'm want to start on a new project and I've narrowed my choice down to two. BUT I CAN"T CHOOSE!

1. A FPS similar to Resident Evil / I am legend
OR
2. An RPG similar to Diablo but with the same theme as number 1.

Can anyone help? Which one has more potential?

Whatever one will give you the most personal experience at developing, statistics are against you at completing the project, let alone the projects quality, let alone the project's success.

i advise you to learn lite-c and practice with small projects but if you're familiar with lite-c and you're working with it for quite some time then you could start something like that but again, dont make it too big, try to make a small shooter.

and dont try to do an rpg, i tried it myself and i saw that it's way to complicate and big (too many characters and it needs big and good story).

that is my advice but only if you're familiar with lite-c otherwise try with some smaller project smile
