Well, I am not the most knowlegable (so I can't speak for Conitech), but if you look at the history, each version keeps getting longer and longer. A6 was around for I think over 3 years, and A7 is a little over a year (someone can correct me, I could be wrong). There was a big jump from 7.2 to 7.5, which to be honest scares me that A7 could have a short life span. Besides, I just bought it 1 year ago, so I hope it lasts 2 more years (so I don't have to pay for more improvements)...
But I am curious myself..... A7.6 came kinda quick....
Yes, I think it is great software too! It keeps getting better and better at quite a good pace (in a few years, it will have more potential than anyone can take advantage of)!

We're by far not yet finished with improving A7, so it is very unlikely that we start programming A8 anytime soon or in the next 12 months. And even if we did, all people ordering in the months before the A8 release will get the upgrade for free, just as we did with A6 and A7. thank you for your explanation. this looks quite fair. Today, I bought this software from Canada by using wire transfer method. I'm eager to start using 3D Game Studio take care, Mehmet Can
