Hi,
I am working on an actionadventure similar to Penumbra - Black plaque.
The physic "manipulation" is still working, but i got some problems with collision detection between player and physic-entities! -> the physics-objects "explodes" when the player touch them...

here is a small video showing my progress until now:

I know about a Ragdoll-demo in the forum! I've been playing with the idea to use this for all Characters near the player to make them "sensitiv" for physic-objects?
So i want to move a "physic skelleton" similar to bone-animations (and other way around)
But i know that this will still have influence to FPS!

So can anyone help me? Do anyone have experiences or know other ways to solve this problem?!

look into the warehouse-demo!
that are much tga-sprites with a small script moving the u-value (skin-displacement)

it took me long time to make them by myselft (i wouldn't copy them),
because i didn't know wheather them are copy-right-protected!

is there any other way to solve this problem? the Player should be able to jump onto the physic-objects!
I think, using a physic box as player wouldn't work becaus he will not be able to move on slopes and s.o. ...

If found a so called "character controller" in physX.

This is used as player, causes no forces and does not react on forces.
It is still used for collision between player and physic objects!

but is it possible to create non-rigid-physic-objects in Newton?
or is it possible to disable forces for a Newton-physic-object?
