TA file ? You mean a tga file? Then you can make an alpha channel, copy the shape of the circle into the alpha channel, and there you go. I don't know paint.net, and how to apply an alpha channel in it. Here is a discussion of how to apply alpha channel in tga!

Try going back to your TGA file and look VERY VERY closely at the edges of your circle and you MAY find a circle of not-QUITE-black pixels around it. This can be caused IF paint.net (never seen it myself) has anti-aliasing during 'fill' operations.
Make them evil pixels dead-black and all will be fine...

then creating in paint.net, first of all create a background layer, and fill it black. All other work do in other layers, then you done, save tga 32bit,compress (RLE). That work fine for me ![wink wink](/ubb7/images/graemlins/default_dark/wink.gif)

It is like I said, look close at the edge pixels, they dont go from true green STRAIGHT to dead black, they fade between green and black.
You'll need to find the setting in paint.net to stop it doing that, or touch up the pixels manually. Or try another paint program, its a simple image so it shouldnt be hard.
