But when i run the med tool. A message comes out saying that i have to install direct x sdk then the windows debugging error comes out sending the med tool to close. It also happens to wed when i try to create new level.

Can anyone help me with this one. I almost finish my models and terrain and using different 3d animation tools but i can't map the texture using it and i can't create new level without wed tools. It's alway the windows debug error shows when running the wed and med. If i us 3d analyze, will it work?

What are your computer's specs? Also, make sure that you have installed the latest video drivers.

I'm pretty sure that the problem appears because of the old video card. Are you sure it's a sis 360?

Sorry, but sis630 isn't compliant with directx 9; it's a directx7 chipset that was released about 10 years ago. You need a better video card.

it still wont work, you need a new card.
(a new card wont fit to your system, tehn you will need a new mainborad, then your old rams dont fit into this board, you will need new rams, so does the cpu it wont fit too. it's time to get a new pc )

If it's an agp card you can still buy a decent replacement from ebay or even from a regular computer store. This would allow you to keep the rest of the computer parts as they are and postpone the upgrade. Using a different driver won't solve the problem.
