I wanted to export a 'static' version of a model I have as a separate mdl file. ( A dead body )
I opened the file, went to the 'dead' pose and tried exporting the frames in both ASC and 3DS formats. In each case the frame is exported but the texture mapping is not??
Can someone tell me how to do this? ( Other than digging up my copy of milkshape? ).

Another kindof-tested idea. 1> Copy the model to new filename. (we'll no longer touch old model) 2> Open (new) model in MED, open the frame manager (under edit drop-menu) 3> Double-click the frame you want to keep. Click MOVE button. 4> Move this frame to BEFORE frame ZERO. (this makes it a new KEY frame?) 5> Still using Frame Manager, carefully delete all other frames. (Its easy to accidentely delete the one frame you want in manager)
Save and done.

My instructions were created on a VERTEX animated model. Is yours bones animated? Try going into the edit menu and doing the "convert to vertex animation" function AFTER saving to a new name but before opening the frame manager...
