I am quite confused about
1. which Version I need (as a student/for hobby)?
2. how much I have to pay for it?
3. where to buy it?

Sorry I forgot to wrote that I am from germany. So I need some german shop  On the homepage there is only a version for about 3500€, isn´t there any version for hobby artist?
new project in early stage...

I ve already looked for it in ebay, amazon, etc.
I wonder if there is an other I-net store where I can find a student version or sth. else? Why isnt there a cheaper version? Which program do you use for 3d modelling?

Which program do you use for 3d modelling? autodesk is not offering such version so you cant find it anywhere else. you can try blender, it's free,powerful and gets the job done.
