Does anyone know any alternative maps editors for WED. I already know about GED, but does anyone know any other maps editors that are free and compatible with GS.

blender via ventilators export plugin.

and it is quite good.

Model, texture, animate...all inside blender, then export the level...there is even a text editor in blender. I am not sure if you can save to (dot).c files though...".c"

Confirmed you can save to "C" files inside blender.

I was not too impressed with geo control...it was more geo less controll....this was just MY experience though...you may want to check it out yourself.
