This is the definition of this error:

e1301

My problem is that I am trying to resource or publish and when I run my resource or publish .exe, for some reason the error that is showing up like the pic will not go away. I hit "Ok" and it just keeps coming back. I hit "ok" about a dozen times and it still comes back. I even tryed the clicking the "X" to close and it does the same thing. I have to hit ctrl+alt+del then end the process everytime.

I know there are some images and sounds that are being initialized at runtime with ent_create and media_play, but I have used "bind" in code so that it will include them in the resource. It hasn't worked so far, and I cannot get my resource demo to run.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

instead of cntl alt del. when the screen pops up, you get your freed up windows mouse pointer over the middle of the screen ( like there is a pop up window there)

hit shift+esc. now left click the game running tab in the taskbar it will pop back up with the error window(s) visible

just keep oking it till you don't see any more repeated errors so you can find out whats wrong. then you can either cancel or shift+esc it again and then right click the game running tab in taskbar to close it

Hi, thanks for the tips, I tryed what you said, it still came back to the same error message box over and over, only it did finally end with one of those error reports that you can choose to send to microsoft or not, after that it shut the engine down.

I figured out that I had 1 file that was not binding to the resource, when I added that file, the demo finally ran.

I may start another topic on proper uses of "bind", but thanks again for the response.
