I've became a game, and the weird thing is, 50% of the game files are available as .MDL, as soon as you change anything on them, the game will either act weird or just not start atall, is there a way to get the other .MDL files?

This looks like 50% Compiled, but why some .MDL's are available, and others not?

But, it could be that your models do not support standard skin sizes (power of 2 ratio's, they could be corrupted or they may not be added to the level at all.

I've got a game, and it contains:

Acknex.exe (A6)
weds
wwmp2wmb
About 50% of all .MDL files that the game uses.
NO SCRIPT FILE cause it's compiled, but not fully compiled, otherwhere there would be no .mdl files in the game folder atall!

When I start Acknex.exe, I can play the game, no problems atall, but I wonder why not ALL .mdl files are included?

How is that possible, and it really do need these 'open source' .mdl's, cause when I edit one of them, the game will act strange or won't even start atall, how is this possible not all .mdl's are open source, or is there a way to get them? ^^

it's probably because you are editing mdl's with a newer MED version which saves with a MDL version that old engine can't recognise properly.

if there is a .wrs file around, probably other %50 of models are in that.

yep there is a .wrs, but you can't open that I guess ><
