Allright,
a) I have the camera VIEW set to layer 1.
b) a view entity with a 3D model of a planet in layer -1.
c) a sky entity in layer -2.
d) and all sky_color set to 0.
I want to have the entity b) as a model for it to rotate, and in a negative layer to view it behind all the level and entities.
It works because when I put the sky entity translucent, I can see the model behind, the problem is that sky entities cant be placed in negative layers, so they will always be in front of the 3D model.
I tried to avoid this by creating a fake sky entity. Another view entity with a 3D cube with its normals facing inside, in a lower layer than the planet.
As any other level entity, it has a pan, tilt and roll, but my problem is that I dont know how to make it rotate in the exact direction of the level, like the SKY | CUBE does. Anyone knows how to do this?
