Just resently I upgraded to "A7/7.77". When I go into wed, open the shooter_project templet, and add the Material Effects Library. Then when I run it the engin fails and says sompthing like

<endif}> Defalt.fx 75:-1 (): Script error last line

<endif}> Defalt.fx 81:-1 (): Script error last line

How do I fix this?

Upgrade to version 7.80, available on the forum. It comes with A6 templates that were adapted to A7.

Ok thanks for the help, but wouldn't a beta version have a few gliches in it.

Ok I tried upgading to 7.80, but still it won't work, and also the "start up screen" script crashes the engin this has happen in 7.07, 7.77, and 7.80.

You're right. We haven't tested the A6 shooter template for a long time, thus we haven't noticed that it contains an outdated command. I'll post here a download link for a fixed template in the next days.

On the main download theirs a Gamestudio/A7 Artwork Collection section it says that I need a password and iv tried a few different ones, but they all don’t work.I do have gamestudio A7.

click ->help -> about in WED . it says your username and passwword

Please unzip it in your Gamestudio folder. It replaces some files in your template_6 folder.

The old version had two mistakes: The script templates used the A4 keyword EXIT instead of the A6 sys_exit(), and the file default.fx was erroneously included where it shouldn't. I could not see any problem with the startup screen template, though.
