The Tutorial suggests locking groups to prevent selecting them. I had to stop so I saved the level with the groups locked. Now when I open it, the groups don't show up in the level directory for me to unlock them. they do show up in the 2d windows as light blue locked groups and in the 3d window like normal. But I can't select them. What to do? Thanks.

You probably still have the lock button activated.
Click on the lock button to unlock it.
That might be your problem.

After opening, I locked the root level and then unlocked it. The missing groups reappeared in the level directory! Good advice!
