im having problems exporting my 3ds max 2010 models to mdl.When i sucessfully export them and put them in the game there so tiny, you cant see them!And when i export terrains as models there either to small or there sideways or their invivsible . I dont know what going on.Please help.
Just scale them in MED, center and some rotation can be applied too. Scale them 10 times. I don't know why but all exports from other 3D modeling software (maya, blender) needs scaling.
Satrebor, i`ve experienced this problem too. As i understand you can import your animation, but should turn off importing bones in fbx import in MED. Let me know please if you find how to fix it.
If the engine needs your character to be at least 86 units all; Set 3dsMAX's measurements to "metric", create a cube that is 86 meters large (L,W,D) make is transparent, freeze it and use it as a modeling guide when making your characters.
