Inspired by the excellent "Idon Beat Player" from BoH_Havoc, I had to try FMOD and was thrilled by it's ease of use, so i created a small C# application using A7 and FMOD to display the spectrum of a song that is played via FMOD (
in fact this is an example that is shipped with the installation of FMOD and so I only had to write the part, that is modifying the terrain !). The "spectrum" is actually a terrain, whose vertices are moved according to the frequency and the intensity of the frequency of the song.
I've uploaded the binaries and the source of this small app, as it may be useful for the first steps in using FMOD with the Acknex Engine. This application should also be quite easy reproducable in lite-c thanks to the excellent FMOD wrapper for lite-c by HeelX !
