Hey All,

Well, you know, Elemental Engine II has a great features, and it's a cross-platform.
And the most important thing is: IT'S FREE AND OPEN-SOURCE!!!

So, how about opening its source-code and learning from it? laugh
Then Gamestudio will be the greatest engine ever. grin

HI,

I personally do not want 3DGS become open source, no interest.
We should be able to buy it for someone to knock on if there is a problem.
The best tools are never free.

Lastly to say, I am totally against "open source".

look on Linux, 99% project "open source" is dead, development is stopped, the team dissolved.

may be for tools like SED or MED, which are of poor quality.
Who we look like tools of the 90s.

but not the engine, not the compiler.

regards

I didn't said that i want Gamestudio to be open-source.
Elemental Engine II is open-source. And thus, Gamestudio can be developed using some of the EE2 code.

While I agree, 3dgs needs to remain an owned intilectual property....
on a side note...
Hirogens, you need to go educate yourself about open source.

Everybody Poops.
here are some tutorials I made.
