In my country(Venezuela), regular people can only spend 400 dollars per year on the internet , so if I want to buy the pro edition of A7 I would have to save for 2 years with not internet expenses =/ I guess that if I want to create a comercial game it won't be with 3D Gamestudio, unless I buy the comercial edition which has everything I need but it shows 3DGS logo on startup and I don't know if a publisher like BigFishGames or any other would accept games with the startup logo =/ so I think I would have to go for something smaller, like a 2D game but I really love A7 engine

you could try and win one of the contests for a better version or there are many free engines on the web , some with shader support and other nice features , but i hear ya , i love gamestudio as well.

yeah, and I've learned a lot of 3DGS that I'm now able to do a simple but good game, I started 2 weeks ago a 3D platform game and it's comming great =/ but well, I guess I will have to publish that for free, I've tried torque, blitz 3D and dark basic (all trial versions) but nothing compared to 3DGS, what a shame .

Who's limited by 400 dollar? I'm sure companies are not? Aren't there ways to get the software you need on legal ways whatsoever? I find that hard to believe. You could always go for a cheap edition first.

Well if you have a company you can request extra dollars, but in my case I don't even have a company, and I' m a solo man coding and making some 3ds with blender and gimp, I guess the only way would be having a company =/ but I think that's even harder and we're limited by CADIVI, a currency control board charged with handling foreign exchange procedures, well the I have to ask a question, if I develop my game with a cheaper edition, can I switch to a newer edition in case a get a company when I finish my game or something without any problem?

You can even use the free lite C version.
If you have a good game that attracts a publisher, they´ll be glad to fund you.
Then you can buy the pro version.

Or get the standard Lite-C version for low.
It allows at least to create your own executable.

Conitec now uses share-it to handle their shop, which accepts wire/check/cash. Still, I hope the situation changes over there. IMO 400 dollars/year for internet payments sounds like a ridiculous idea.

Buying the Pro edition is the smallest problem then.
Its virtually impossible to do any internet business then.
As you cant even purchase advertisement space or
external assets with such restrictions.

And how should you receive any revenue of the game if there
are such controls.

Best is to remove this dictator.
