It's good. Look around first, though. There are already 3 threads talking about Unity:
One in the Tools section (this section);
One in Morbius (Unity declares war! Or something);
As well as some Unity discussion in the "Future of A7" thread in "Updates and Announcements".

Actually TGB is better, if you want to make a 2d game wink

Really, we need more infos about your project, team-size, programming skills and the tools you want to use for modelling and animation. Then and only then it makes sense to say something helpful here. Every other comment could include some fan behaviourism.

we want make a 3rd person shooter game like GEAR OF WAR.we r 4 person.skill programming is good.tools:3dmax,zbrush,....now what is your idea?

With legal licenses of 3ds max and Zbrush you can use this:

By the way: this is the engine of Gears of War wink

With good programming skills in C++ you can use C4 engine.

Unity and A7 will provide some trouble in terms of indoor scene-management, if you want to use such detailed geometry like in Gears of War.

why we can not make a game like gear of war with A7?i think that A7 is powerfull.what do u think?

A7 have power, but also have limitations. A gears of war clone, as any other game clone, is possible to be made but each feature represents a more or less difficult challenge to implement.
The Shaders features in A7 are the first visible limitation: to fix shaders in an A7 title you need to follow a lot of extra steps described in several threads on the forums. Them, there's the AI... usually strong mainstream titles uses things like Alienware for artificial AI, but you can fake some Artificial inteligence with real Natural Dumbness since NPC behavior is all about your position and what are you doing.
It's a tradeoff: while you can swamp a level with position detectors and behaviors, using more advanced code will require less time in the assembling.
Meaning: A7 can do virtually any kind of game, but some features are better left aside because of increasing code complexity.

A shooter means you need polished graphics.

Most likely UDK is the right engine, as it has proven, that it's perfect for shooters wink
