Quote:

Crates are already a standing joke in the world of videogames, because we see so many of them. The Old Man Murray website includes a hilarious review of a number of games (caution: strong language) based on the length of time you have to play before you see the first crate - at which point, the authors claim, the game designer has run out of ideas. The longer you can play without seeing a crate or a barrel, the better the game is.

If a player tries my game it'll take 1-2 seconds until he/she encounters the first crates! grin

I usually place crates and other touch-up items when all else is done tongue. I disagree with this theory strongly ^^.

i have never used a crate before, lol. i actually never noticed how often they are seen in games. i guess they are a common prop, especially in a warehouse or factory type level. i want to add a crate in my level now to see if there is a change in the feel of that level.

My Famous Quotes: "Hip hop is like a virus, infecting everyone and everything around it. Every form of media has some way, shape or form, assimilated hip hop into it." It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."
