Very general...sorry.

I need to create an animation of a baseball player hitting a ball in a stadium. Does it make sense to build a model in Blender and import it into Gamestudio, to manipulate? The blender experts told me to do it all in blender, of course, but I just bought Gamestudio, and like it so far.

I personally have never used Blender, I use 3DS Max, but I'm sure this applies to Blender as well. External 3D programs are always a good idea if you're serious about models - the skin mapping in particular is a little awkward in MED. As for animation though, (someone correct me if I'm wrong) I think you need to create the bones in MED because so far I've been unable to import bones from MAX.

This post belongs in user requests, first of all;

And, Just so you know,
MED Is a very useful program once you know how to use it; maybe not as good as blender(Less shortcuts, and such) but I can do some very good things with it, take my simpsons pack for example, I only used med for that...



What you need, is someone to model you a baseball player, with all the animations required to make a whole game, basically; So you probably wont get this done for free, or cheap, since animation is very hard, nevermind creating the model to begin with, and the skin,
