Nobody can help you if they don't know what you're working with.
If you are using the templates, I really suggest you learn C-Script, or better yet, Lite-C. That way you can program your own games and make them exactly the way you want. Making an item that increases your speed is a trivial process if you are using your own code, because you know how everything is laid out. Trying to modify or rework the templates, on the other hand, is a real chore that almost nobody will bother trying to do.
Bottom line: if you're using the templates, chances are nobody will help you.
If I were you, I'd get cracking on the script tutorials and the AUM magazine. It's going to be a long ride, but chances are you'll find the trip is quite enjoyable; IF you have the patience to stick with it.
