Along time ago I purchased a copy of A7 commercial. I haven't used it for a while but I wanted to update it from 7.07 or something the first version I put on my CD along time ago so I didnt lose my copy. Now when I try to update it .

I get an error saying its missing the file 00083#GED in my appdata/temp/Setup---Folder or something like that.

Could someone please help it would be very much appreciated.

Have you tried not to update but to install the new version (in a different folder) ?

Try freeing all your temp file folder

Under Start
type %temp%
This will give you a visual of all the files that are in your temp folder.
This might be the solution.
