I know that there is the shader view, but even a simple material editor would be nice to have in WED/GED.
Also, It would be very convenient to be able to assign various prop properties within WED/GED in addition to the current ones.
Physics (Box/Ball/Cylinder etc (along with physics details))
Sprites (Billboard/Decal/Animated(with animation speed and opacity settings))
From the manual:
The Metal flag assigns a shiny material to the model. It also serves as a Decal flag for Sprites. Hmmm...maybe change that as previously described.
This would add value to Wed and help with workflow.
