It's a while agy that I was so dissatisfied with the Gamestudio sky that I wrote my own sky cube version (TheCube - which only works with A5). Being told that the A6 sky version replaces this I thought, fine, I will use that instead. But I am wondering about the visual quality. It seems as if the graphic quality is thoroughly deteriorated, you see the cube edges all over. Are there any way to circumvent these problems? Or shall I take up my work again.
try the sky cubes in the goodies. I droped one in to check it out and you can't see the "squareness" Looks good. A lot better than the old style texture sky...

I had that problem when I used pixel sizes other than for example 512, so if I used 500 I would see edges, if that helps stick with 128, 256,512,1024 etc..
The cube works nice. be sure as Defient said, stick to the power of 2 deal.
Here are 2 screen shots of the same sky cube. The first I perposly forced the seams to split so you can see how the cube forms ( i just applyed some .u to the cube that will force the cube to split at the seams). The second is the cube without the forced split.
