Hi

Recently I have been using blender for moddeling and animations. When I import the FBX file in MED and convert to points animation everything is fine, however, when i try to use my bones animations I have wierd deformations in the mesh... I'm baffled because of tried messing around with weight paint and there are no offset bones or IK controllers. I've also messed around with the scale after importing as well as saving it as mdl and reopening it... currently i am stuck.

You have to assure within Blender that the mesh's and the armature's origin are both placed at the zero of the world coordinates, their scale and rotation have to be set to 1 and to 0. (Look at: Object --> Clear/Apply --> Apply Scale/Rotation... )

Thanks so much Pappenheimer! That was the main issue I was having... there are still slight deformations occurring but I believe this is do to my wieght painting.

To anyone else who needs to set the the cooridinates of a mesh or armature simply press "N" to bring up the transformation properties.

Thanks once again!
