Where does acknex save the acklog on vista/win7 if an installed game is run from the program files folders? It can't write/change any files in the program files dir, so where does it save them? Or better, how do I set the directory where the file's saved? Manual doesn't say.

depends on how you run the game. from WED it stores the acklog with the .wmp files, from SED I believe it stores it with the main script file. I tried the first one last week, on win7, and worked.
does setting the save_dir have any effect on where the acklog is saved?
if not, you can try to set the "working directory" of the shortcut to your game to another folder and see if acknex uses that. If the user ignores that shortcut however, it'll fail.
