why every time after compilation a palette.pcx is created?
what is the purpose of it?
why most of the time compiler says something like this:"cannot open palette.pcx"?solution.
why replacing it,makes no error?

I think you only need it if you want to use 8bit bitmaps/textures with a common palette. But that would look ugly, and no one does it, so you won't need the file.
