ok, I'm just dabbling with a game called Urban Soccer in my free time, basically an 'attempt' at recreating that nike commerical, just for fun with a few friends. And there are some problems :

- We think we are going to make the ball a part of the player model , in which when the player runs into ball it switches to animations of the player carrying the ball, but when the player shoots for goal the ball becomes a stand alone model with a trajectory etc, does anyone have a code for ball physics? Just a template or something to work with?

Just look through this forum, creating a ball and kicking it really is simple to do. Use EVENT_FRICTION to get notified once a ball collides with a player.

I my opinion is better use a fake fisical ball wiht a c-scrip, you can archived more effect an beaviours
