Cloth simulation animation export I'm facing a little problem exporting an animation for a flag created using cloth simulation. Here are the steps that I followed

I'm using blender version 2.49b

1- Insert a grid 32 x 32
2- apply cloth physics to it and pinned it using weight painting
3- created a wind field
4- pressed "Bake" from the collision tab
5- File -> Export -> DirectX(.X) pressed the "Anim" tab to indicate that I want ot exprot animations as well
6- opened a new instance from blender and imported the .x file I have just exported
7- the model was imported but no animation

I have tried the FBX export, but I can't validate it as there is no FBX import.

Help will be very much appreciated.

In MED?
Sure, it does!
MED: File --> Import --> Model from FBX(2010)

[just looked into MED 6.919 free version]

Shall I send you the blender file and you provide me with the mdl file that contains the animation, because I really can't bake the animation in blender. Also if possible please provide a step by step guide.

As far I can see here it goes this way(didn't test it jet, my own tests are too long ago):
Object (F7) -> Physics buttons -> collision -> bake

Don't forget to save the blend-file before exporting.
