hi all,
EDIT: I'M TALKING ABOUT THE WED SDK
when im trying to set StringX value from WED plugin, if the StringX value was empty WED gives an error.
I tried to assign new address with "new" command and this time i got empty pointer (which points 0).
also i tried to use malloc and its still the same.
But, if I type StringX value via the WED editor, and in the plugin i get the string and i can change it with code.
this is really stupid, you guys really made a mistake.
I saw a topic about this in the ASK the Developers forum but i cant send any message there so i decided to open another topic.
This bug took me 1 week to solve and I still got nothing.
Hope you solve this bug quickly.

ooh he is not talking about the engine, he is talking about the WED SDK.
Yes, seems like sdk needs an update, but that has to be brought to JCL's atention.

then just look the download page down the SDKs part you can see:
MED / WED SDK (2 MB - November 2008) - create MED / WED plugins. ooh he is not talking about the engine, he is talking about the WED SDK. Sorry mightee, didn't realise (the thing on the first post clarifies it too, thanks ) Seems I was being ignorant, and I apologise. As Quadraxas said, JCL should be notified
