Hi~ I am a beginner in Game Studio. I have a question about redering! I make a Max file in 3D-Max and exporting it in .wmp file using max2gs plug-in. It works and i can see it in level editor. However, when I build it and run in level, I can't see my ceil! (Actually I made level by 3D-Max like Living-Room) What happen? I can't understand this process! Does anyone have a experience like this? Could you let me know how I solve this problem? In advamce thx for ur help!

1 - What edition (Standard, Extra, Commercial, Pro) and version number (v5.xx or v6.xx) do you have? You can get the exact information by opening WED and going to HELP>ABOUT.
2 - What is a "ceil"? Do you mean the ceiling?
3 - Could you post a picture of the problem showing the level in WED and also in the running engine?
Thanks!

see where I circled the area where the textures distort?
your blocks are too thin and they overlap. this will cause build problems such as removing surfaces. the texture distortions is caused by 2 visible surfaces that are at the same location and face the same direction.
fix this by adjusting your ceiling block. don't overlap blocks, make the 'flush' with eachother.
best is lay the blocks down, floor, walls on top of the floro surface, then ceilign capping teh walls. cuts out rendering problems with gaps between blocks
