I Just bought the commercial version of A8 just about two days ago and I was wondering based on anyone's experience how long does it normally take to have your order emailed to you if you had to do a wire transfer..? I kinda figured it'd take a couple business days but I wasn't sure if I should worry if it wasn't already delivered... Thanks for your time...

Just got my email download today..! Thanks man... Now after playing around with it I've got to decide exactly what type of game I want to make...lol

Before you deside what type of game you want to create, start learning the basics of WED and Lite-C. This workshop gives you a great introduction into Lite-C: http://tutorial.3dgamestudio.net/

Thanks Dark_Samurai... I also just bought the " Sams Teach Yourself C in 21 Days "... I think I'ma dive into the programming side of it pretty hardcore at first...

Dont get too deep into the book too soon...
There is a LOT in "real" C that you dont need to know,
and a significant amount that will confuse thing too.
Stick to its basics, and CERTAINLY look to it as a reference...

Also, check out the workshops, as linked by Dark_Samurai, and later on look
at some of the more recent AUM magazines at http://www.3dgamestudio.com/aum.php.
Be cautious looking too far back, as there is old C-Script code there that is
pretty much obsolete nowadays...
