Like any companie, it's a way for them to make advertissements on your mails, to survey how many people are interested and for them to prepare their marketing side( price increase or drop down , new version etc ...) !

Well ... I pass on the subject caus i use Blender or Silo for tarditionnal modeling !
But good new for Hexagon users indeed

i'm also an active Silo user since 1.2, Hexagon is a good/simple/cheap modeler for those who cant afford... Modo for example.
I'm keeping my eye on it, lets see if they fix most stability problems.
