Hi dudes,

I was wandering how to achieve a fog/cloud effect like this one:



I want to use it as a gas cloud within a solar system in a space game I'm making.

There is a fog demo made by Helghast, search the forum for it.

Thanks for that, but I still want to make a cloud also. The screenshot I posted above of the game Freelancer doesn't do the effect in the game really justice, since in the game you can see that the cloud but also a nice fog effect (similar to what Helghast made). So how can I make the ~cloud effect?

maybe you have to use camera.fog_start and camera.fog_end combined with d3d_fogcolor1
