Hey Guys!
This is a two-day project of me, which allows you to raytrace your gamestudio levels!
Simply change the level name in my script, start it...
Move the camera to the wanted location and press space
The script now will create the scene whith the raytracer...
Camera movement is from default.c, so use 0 and the right mouse button to move the camera

You can download ot here:
http://www.masterq32.de/download/raytracer.c

The script also contains two actions:
light_act and obj_act.
light_act represents a light in the tracer system, you can set up the lightrange and the intensity(0-100) of the light

obj_act represents and special object which is translucent (glass) or reflecting (mirror)
you can set the reflectivity and a flag if it should pass or reflect light

Here are some screens from the tracer done with two levels:

What he meant was "If that'd be in realtime, he'd be happy".

Might be a real stupid question, but what is this good for? For rendering scenes in GS?

Yeah, but... Who is Lu?

Raytracing is an alternative rendering technology which uses rays to create the image.
so you can create really nicelooking lights, shadows, mirrors and so on...
you can create also lenses which refract the light
