hello,

I´ve worked with differend shaders and find out that there is a problem with the sun,the shadow and the hmps.

the shadow works only with the last blendmap and not with the others.

why??????????

what can I do?got anybody a shader wich is working with all blendmaps?

hier nochmal die frage:

hat jemand einen shader, der schatten von hügeln oder erhebungen werfen kann?aber dabei auch die unteren detailmaps berücksichitgt?

I know. Use the effect_load instruction to apply to the dynamic shadows.

effect_load(mat_shadow,"shadow.fx");

Can it apply to it? If it doesn't post comments here.

Nope what he means seems to be the gouraud shading on terrains that have Steempipe's FFP-Multitexturing assigned. I also noticed that only the blendmaps have gouraud shading, the base texture doesn't which can look really crappy
But unless Steempipe comes round here accidentially, I haven't got an answer
