The 'no regular grid' error means that the distances between all the
vertices in the X and Y direction are NOT all EXACTLY the same.
If you are re-scaling during the exports or import process, you MUST
scale both X and Y directions by the same amount. And if you are re-scaling
by ANY amount, sometimes small arrors can creep in. Try to avoid any rescaling.
I have noticed that MED trys to 'estimate' a scaling amount on imports,
be sure to set it to exactly 1(one).
Its also possible when you were playing with the heights in 3DS, you 'nudged'
one more more vertices a bit north/south/east/west. Even a mere 0.000001 of a
quant is enough to 'break' a terrain.
If you get the error, just import it (into MED) as a MODEL, then try to fix it.
Models will import with offset vertices. But I dont know of any 'tool' in
MED that can automatically fix the problem.
But Im not a big MED user, so hopefully someone else can help with that part...
Best of luck...
