Hi
i have P4 prescot 3.2 with hyperthreading option .

this feature can be turn on/off on a bios level .

while this feature is on 3dgs recognize like i have 2 cpu .

does the build time decrease by this feature ?

why dont you test it out? it would be the fastest way (it can only be faster or stay as it was before anyway)

most of the time it could be true , however ive started a very big build 4 days ago (which take on my old pc p 1.8 4 weeks) and i didnt want to waste the time and stop it .

HT technology can bring up to 50% more performance on video encoding i guess. so it might would compile your map faster, too.
