How do I create wad files?

in WED, choose textures tab, right click on pics of default wad, here you find in popup menu what you need: "texture manager"

Yes, I see that under the texture manager you can create a new wad file, but how do you add contents to the empty wad file?

in WED, right click in your empty wad and then click Add Texture...
