Why i can't move vertex/edge/face of an object? it gives error that map don't allow concave blocks. What is the use of these tools then? i know you can change vertexes in paths etc but these tools are most used in changing shapes of objects while level designing.

Anyway i want to create a swimming pool like this.

How do i create those softedges with wed?

Regards

Go to the "File" menu and select "Map Properties". Then under "Block Typ" select "concave".

Wouldn't it create problems during and after build? and why it is not allowed at first place?

Thanks

BSP maps require convex bocks. That's why the intial setting is convex. Unless you have the PRO edition and want to build a BSP map using concave blocks is perfectly safe.

btw. it's easy to build such a pool out of convex blocks. You just have to use multiple of them.
