Zorro version 1.16 was now released and can be downloaded from the usual download link:

All bugs reported for Zorro 1.14 have been fixed or worked around. Many of the new features came from suggestions on the forum. For updating from Zorro 1.14, please read the section "Updating from previous versions" under the link above.

Hi, I have tried Zorro 1.16 and have found (maybe) some bugs.
1. Zorro Testing generate these files in Log folder (only testing Z12):

(6 versions of testtrades.csv with obviously bad names (repeated testtrades.csv).
These files have different filesizes, I do not know which is right.

2. Assets.dta has wrong PIPCosts. There is example:

It seems that it is in Euros, but I have USD demo account. I suppose it could be 0.10000 for USD accounts, GER30 could be something 1.3xxx (EUR/USD rate). GBP/USD had it right 0.10000 (this is however exception and much stranger)
Zorro 1.14 had it probably OK.

The strange .csv file names are indeed wrong - they are intermediate files from the oversampling cycles. You can just ignore them. We'll fix that in the next Zorro update.

Zorro has no influence on PIPCost, it comes from your broker. You must log in with a selected asset for updating its line in Assets.dta to your broker's PIP cost. Until then it contains just the default values. For updating all assets in Assets.dta, use the Download script.

I received mails regarding new Z12s and Z5s strategy files. I need to update when going from 1.14 to 1.16.

I don't want to disturb Zorro cause there are open trades and what it learned so far. Are the new versions 'better' as the old ones and do you think I should/need to update to 1.16 or can I stay with 1.14?

The new Z5 version is better, Z12 is the same. BTW, have you subscribed both strategies? Without Zorro S you can use only one of them on a real account.
