Hello,
I have a few questions regarding the "Engine"-SDK License when using it as an A8-Com User.

What i want to do:

Write a small Framework for Using Gamestudio A8 in Delphi.
This requires a translation of the headerfiles and additionally(for the framework) some wrapping of the functions into Delphi-Classes.(At least for the construct i have in mind).

And the questions:
The licence Text says it is not allowed to write a Wrapper. what is exactly meant by a wrapper here?(As we already have a C#-Wrapper and an outdated old Delphi-Wrapper)

Without a question the Wrapper itself must be OpenSource as stated by the Licence-Text. But, what about my Games i write with my Wrapper? Do i have to provide Full-Source of them, too?.

EDIT: And why has it to be OpenSource for Non-Pro-Users?

As to question 1, a Delphi frameworks is not a wrapper and is allowed by the license. You need not to include your game source, only the source of the framework.

Why OpenSource? We like OpenSource and we also like when people purchase the Pro Edition. The license is made so that we can like it either way.

About my last sentence regarding the OpenSource, i thought the licence forces people to distribute their GameSource as OpenSource(which defeats the purpose of selling it).

But you have clarified it.

PS: Maybe you can explain what a wrapper in terms of the license is? Just in case someone else stumbles across the same problem and ends up here^^
