Not sure where to post this question. What is the formula for calculating a low pass filter? Not the code, just the mathematical formula.

The general form of the filter formula can be found here:

The particular coefficients for Zorro's lowpass filter are from an engineering book. I'll check if I can locate the formula and post it here.
