Would it be possible to use Alpha Channels to mask a shader like this one onto certain parts of models?

Just make multible models.

I wasn't asking for a different way of doing it!
If you don't know how to answere a question then don't post anything stupid or off topic!

BTW it's multiple, not "multible".

Yes, I know.
It really has nothing to do with my question though.
Braxton has also been spamming peoples topics and giving false information in the past.
I am just warning him because it's gets anoying to me and other people when he does this.
He also misspelled multiple.
Sorry Braxton.

Just use the alpha-masked enviromental mapping effect on the wiki. It's essentially the same thing. You can achieve almost exactly the same effect with the right enviromental map.

Thanks for the suggestion Nadester.
I tried using environmental maps quite a while ago.
I just can't achieve the effect that I want with it.
I'd like to have this chrome effect instead.
