So I have been trading a final version of a my strategy since Dec30th and I have found out that after some amount of time Zorro will simply stop executing trades even though it is connected to FXCM and receiving regular prices updates.

I am currently running it on my desktop with cable connection. There are no errors showing up on my Zorro screen, it simply stops executing trades despite the fact that it clearly should have taken trades. I notice this happens when I leave it on over the weekend (I use Weekend=4 setting in my code) but it also happens after it has generated big winners which it wont close out.

My question is has this happened to other users and how do I minimize it. Should I restart every Sunday? Should I upload the program to trade on virtual server? I am assuming its my computer (windows 7 OS) that might be causing this somehow. I have turned sleep mode off obviously but still I have no explanation for why its happening. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Boris

This is an error that I have not experienced. I run Zorro on a VPS and leave it running over the weekend and it takes trades weeek in, week out.

This should be easy to fix, by printing your signals in a plot or a log. You can then see what the problem is. The Zorro manual has a chapter about troubleshooting and finding bugs.

Yeah I figure its my setup/computer and not Zorro itself. I will try to optimize it but probably will need to get a VPS for optimum performance.

I looked at the manual but didnt see how u print the signals to a log. Is it a command you add to the enterlong/entershort command? Partdon my ignorance.
